Well, although the pumpkin plant got quite big, I was unable to grow a pumpkin from my efforts. In the beginning, the plant had quite a few blossoms on it, that would grow into pretty, big, orange flowers. You can see the flower below. My bf thought it would be good to focus on just one blossom and cut the rest of them off, so the plant would focus all of it's energy into producing a pumpkin, rather than wasting its efforts.
Unfortunately, either my cat got to that flower or I accidentally guillotined it with the blinds, because I found the flower on the floor one day!
